Senior Product Manager (fulltime)

To help us launch PhotoRocket to the masses and keep us thinking, building and creating — we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team. Your mission: guide and be a member of a team charged with fundamentally changing how photos are shared. You’ll drive building products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a strong blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision to contribute to and expand on our current product successes, and the drive to make our shared vision a reality.

Your communication skills should be second to none, as you will work with the engineering team to define product release requirements, work with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, and help the entire team understand product positioning, key benefits and our target customer. You will also serve as both internal and external evangelist for the product offering.

Required experience and knowledge:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Product management, including managing others on a team.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent consumer software and/or Web 2.0 products & services.
• Strong technical background – must be able to earn respect of high-achieving engineers.
• Knowledge of and direct experience in delivering world-class user experiences.
• Knowledge of and direct experience working in a startup environment using agile/scrum process, and working with cutting edge technologies.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Desired experience and knowledge:

• Specific experience in photography, digital media sharing, etc. highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus, not required)
• Knowledge of web application frameworks, cloud computing and Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments desired.

Core Developer, Ruby on Rails (fulltime)

Wanted: a Ruby on Rails rock star to help set a new standard in simple, easy-to-use software. Our team is scrappy yet very experienced. Front-End JavaScript Architect (fulltime)

We are looking for Seattle based Javascript Gods to augment our rapidly growing development team. We do bleeding edge UI work (no support for IE6 needed) that includes working on client and well as server applications. This isn’t cranking out HTML pages, it is interactive application development at its best.

Looking for 5+ years of professional experience in a commercial application development environment.

Required Skills and background:

• Javascript (JQuery experience preferred)
• Experience with RESTful APIs
